I'm super late for posting this but I really liked how the cake toppers turned out :3 It was Mother's Day and my bf and I thought why not make something homemade for both of our moms! So we made a banana pie and topped it off with a hand painted cake topper!
It was pretty simple to do. I previously painted flower wreathes on watercolour art blocks so all I had to do was cut them out.
Then, I practice a little bit on my calligraphy before writing it on the actual artwork.
After that, I re-purposed an old candle holder and cellophane taped it to the artwork. And voila!! It was simple to do but really add a bling to the cake!
