Food Review: Minimini Cafe at Mid Valley

My anime instinct heightened when I saw this cafe. With their adorable toys matching their cute decorations, I felt like this place was the perfect place for instagram pictures lol.

So, this place is more of a self-service basis. The waiters and waitresses will pass you the menus but you'll have to go to the counter with your order sheet and pay. After that, they'll pass you a cute standee with a number. Then, you'll have time to take pictures for instagram while you wait for them to serve your food. There's also a counter for forks, spoons and tissue like in McD.

It's like a whole Alice in Wonderland kind of theme going on.

The food was quite affordable but the drinks cost as much as your food, just a few ringgit cheaper. I think mineral water was RM3.50. I've taken some pictures of the menu below:

Previously, I've tried the lamb pizza and their nasi lemak. Both the pizza and rice was quite nice. The pizza was cooked well and the lamb was season nicely. The nasi lemak's rice was green (oddly) but soft the way I like it and the chicken rempah was also pretty good. I actually enjoyed them.

I also asked my friends about their food and they said was ok except one of my friend didn't enjoy her french toast in her omelette set. Some pictures below so you can see how their food really looks like.

Overall, the food was pretty okay. I expected it to be bad since they had the nice decorated theme going on so I assumed their food might lack in taste. I was wrong. The food is not amazing but it's actually a pretty nice place to hang with friends where you wanna take lots of pretty pictures.
